Safeguarding

At Harrison we believe that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is every member of the team's responsibility; we all have a role to play. At all times we consider what is in the best interests of the children. Our team is supported to understand their role through clear policies and procedures and regular training based on Hampshire models which are regularly updated in line with the latest statutory guidance.

As Head teacher, Mrs Gmitrowicz is the school's designated safeguarding lead (DSL) who is supported by three deputy DSLs, the Head of School, Miss Eddleston, SENCo, Mrs Thornley and Lead for Pupil Wellbeing Team, Anneke Ring. If you have concerns about a child or family, please make contact with them via the school office.

All pupils in our school can talk to any member of staff about their worries or share concerns. We will listen to the pupil, take their worries seriously and share the information with the safeguarding lead.
