The role of Ofsted is to provide information to parents, promote improvement and hold schools to account for the public money they receive. A team of four inspectors spoke with the leadership team, year leaders and curriculum leads, teachers, teaching assistants, lunchtime play leaders, governors, and of course children.

Inspectors spent most of their time in classrooms observing a wide range of lessons and looking at the quality of education in the school and the impact of the curriculum. They looked at the personal development, behaviour, attitudes and welfare of pupils at the school, the promotion of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development; and how well the school is led and managed.

You will find a copy of the inspection report below.

As you can imagine we are really pleased that the inspectors recognised the high levels of dedication, hard work, and care across the whole school team.

We were particularly praised for the attention to detail that all staff give to their work, along with the strong ethos of the school, our clear vision and the determination to meet the needs of every single child in our care. Ultimately this reflects well not only on the school (staff, volunteers, and governors), but on the wider Harrison family – parents, grandparents, carers, and other family members – who all play a vital part in providing the children with the best environment to learn and grow in their school journey.

We would like to thank parents and carers for your support and messages during the inspection and look forward to working closely with you this term and beyond.

Please see below the letter we have received from His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools.

We are delighted that the Harrison team was recognised for its commitment and dedication to our families and the local community.
