School Meal Price Increase

Hampshire County Council have informed us that the Hampshire school meal price will increase from £2.15 to £2.30 with effect from 1 September 2018 for all children in Key Stage 2 (years 3 - 6).  The increase in price seeks to cover the cost of the National Living Wage and to enable HC3S to maintain the high quality of meals despite continuing inflationary pressure, particularly on food. The increase brings Hampshire in line with a number of other authorities and will allow HC3S to continue, as far as possible, to source ingredients for school meals from local suppliers. All HC3S meals meet Department for Education standards and include: Scopay will be updated in the new academic year to take into account this increase. If you have any queries please call school and ask to speak to Alix Martin. School Admin Team
